Dr Fung and Dr Chilov speak at international conferences
In July this year Dr Adrian Fung and Dr Michael Chilov spoke at the prestigious MidWest Ocular Angiography Conference (MOAC) held in Budapest, Hungary. Dr Fung spoke on Alports Syndrome and Vasoproliferative Tumour. Dr Chilov presented on the rare condition Acute Exudative Polymorphous Vitelliform Maculopathy and MEK inhibitor maculopathy. Both talks were well received. In the same month Dr Fung also presented a video on the management of sub macular haemorrhage at the American Society of Retinal Specialists (ASRS) in Vienna, Austria. This is the largest retinal meeting in the world. In August, Dr Fung was invited to present at the Asia Pacific Vitreoretinal Society Congress held in Sydney, Australia. He spoke on vascular tumours of the fundus and ground-breaking research on a new suprachoroidal implant for bionic vision which he has been researching over the last two years in collaboration with the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, University of New South Wales.
